Recreational Summer League Swim Team

About Us

About the Team:

Los Banos Tiger Sharks is in a Recreational Summer League and part of the Merced County League. There are a total of 8 teams in the League and the season begins in mid-April and the first meet is at the end of May. Swim meets are scheduled on most Saturdays. Some Sundays and some Friday evenings too for 8 weeks. Championships are held the last weekend in July. Each swimmer must attend 4 meets to be eligible to swim at Championships.

About The Coach:

Coach Drew Guintini starts his fourth year after winning the League Championship in 2007, 2008, and 2009.  Coach Drew grew up swimming for LBTS as a young boy and still holds several league and county records. He is also currently the coach for the Los Banos Tigers High School swim team. 

Who can join:

All children up to 18 years are welcome to join. Children 6 and under must be able to "swim" at least 25 yards

by the first meet.

 

How to sign up:

Registration will be at the public pool on Saturday March 27th from 12-2pm, on Sunday March 28th from 3-5pm, and on Wednesday March 31st from 5-7.

 

Cost:

$55.00 per swimmer ($130 after Mother’s Day), not including team swimsuit. 

Family discounts for multiple swimmers. Parents

are required to participate in at least two fundraisers.
